Hawaii 2011

Right after Kade's internship ended, he flew home for one day and then we headed to Maui with his family! It was the last trip all together before Rhet moved to USU, and Kade and I headed back to Philly.  We stayed in a beautiful house in Wailea and were within walking distance to the beach.

Ann strikin' a pose haha!
Paytie got up every time--she was the best out of all of us!
One night Kip took Ann on a date, so we ordered pizza and played games at the house.  It started with Clue and ended with Monopoly....although I am not sure we ever ended.  Someone eventually gave up.
Kade and I rented some stand up paddle boards on our last day.  It was cool to be away from the shore--you could see right down to the ocean floor at the fish and a few turtles.  We also saw a turtle that was stuck on a fishing line...the fisherman came out to set it free and it was flapping its fins everywhere.  He eventually cut the line and the turtle swam away with the hook stuck on it's shell.
In the last ten minutes we paddled back to the shore and Kade picked up Paytie to let her ride with him.
We will always be grateful for Kip and Ann and all that they do for us.  I have a lot to learn from them about being selfless and giving of everything they have.
We definitely were not ready to leave, but had a very fun trip!
